Come Home For Christmas (Blessed to be a Blessing) is a very special annual program that reaches out to area Men’s and Women’s Shelters to bring cheer to families in a tangible way.  We believe God has blessed us, so that we can be a blessing to someone else.

We have the distinction of being the oldest operating Day Care Center in the City of Chicago.  The Greater Institutional Daycare and Learning Center operates daily (Mon-Fri) from 7am to 6pm for youth ages 2-14.  This program is designed to give children educational opportunities while building self-esteem. We lead classroom activities that stimulate physical, mental, social and emotional growth in adolescence.

God’s On the Block – The largest community festival on the Southeast Side of Chicago.

Scholarships – We provide financial scholarships to both graduating High School Seniors and those already attending college.

School Adoption – We have partnered with Ruggles Elementary School to assist in providing children with necessities they may not receive elsewhere.  This includes winter coats, school supplies and tutoring.
